Traveling to and from Orange County will be messy this weekend. A full closure of all lanes on 91 westbound from Interstate 15 to Lincoln Avenue is scheduled for Friday, January 27 at 10 p.m. through Monday, January 30 at 5 a.m. in the city of Corona.
The closure allows crews to work on two adjacent projects led by the Riverside County Transportation Commission – the 15/91 Express Lanes Connector and the 91 Refresh Project.
Eastside neighborhood and historic preservation community groups advocated against the project.
