Neighbor of the Week: Michael J. Elderman
Each week, we will introduce a new neighbor. This is not a who's who list. These are regular Riversiders doing exceptional things.
Robillard is the second to publicly declare candidacy for the City Council in the 2024 election.
Steven Robillard has announced his campaign for City Council’s Ward 3 seat in the 2024 election. His announcement comes a month after Warren Avery’s announcement to run for the same seat currently held by Ronaldo Fierro, who is running for State Assembly.
Robillard is a graduate of Woodcrest Christian High School and UC Riverside and is now a real estate agent with his family’s firm.
“As a lifelong resident of Riverside, I understand the challenges we face and I want to help improve our quality of life,” said Robillard. “It’s time for City Hall to get serious about public safety, solving the homeless crisis, and investing in infrastructure. As our next City Council Member, I will work hard to attract jobs and opportunities to Riverside and focus on the needs of residents.”
Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco endorsed Robillard calling him “a strong advocate for public safety,” claiming “Steven will focus on making Riverside’s neighborhoods, schools, and businesses safer.”
