Arte Nuestra festival marks two-year anniversary of the Cheech

In only two years, the Cheech Center for Chicano Art & Culture has significantly impacted the arts scene in Riverside. Aside from showcasing Chicano artists in a world-class space, The Cheech's presence has directed attention toward existing institutions like Division 9 and the Eastside Arthouse and fostered a culture of art entrepreneurship.

On Saturday, June 22, celebrate the anniversary at ARTE NUESTRA. There will be live music, Art and food vendors, dance performances, and free museum admission at The Cheech and the RAM.

Visit me under the shade of the Riversider magazine booth, introduce yourself, and bring me bottled water (it's supposed to be hot!).

Arte Nuestra will be on Mission Inn Avenue between The Cheech and Riverside Art Museum (from Lime St. to Orange St.)
