Check back here and on the Lancer’s Website as the young women look to extend their impossible 80-0 streak and win a fifth straight national title.
Matches of the week
CIF Men’s Soccer, Arlington vs Poly
Friday, January 31, 7 p.m.
Arlington High School
The Lions re-enter the State Top 25 Rankings on MaxPreps just in time for a decisive game against crosstown rival Poly. In the first match Arlington came from behind to beat Poly 2-1 on the Bears turf. This game has post season and rivalry implications as both teams look to play deep into February. Expect to see a hard fought match by both sides.
NCAA Men’s Basketball, Southern Utah @ CBU
Thursday, February 6, 2/6
Fowler Center
Lancers look to finish their regular season with games against the top two in conference rivals, Southern Utah and Grand Canyon. Lancers have shown moments of exceptional basketball but have, thus far, lacked the consistency needed to make a run at the Western Athletic Conference’s automatic bid for the NCAA Tournament. Conference tournaments are a strange being, and CBU has the talent if they can string together a few excellent games.
