It’s going to be a busy weekend on the diamonds for the CBU Lancers. Baseball and Softball are still early in what each team hopes is a big season. CBU Baseball hosts their first conference series, this Friday through Sunday, against the Seattle University Redhawks.
Lancers Baseball have a strong 8-5 record entering conference play, with a .281 team batting average and a remarkable 3.45 ERA. The Redhawks are a multi-sport rival and always bring their best to Riverside.
CBU Softball hosts Harvard, Sacramento State, and UC San Diego in the Lance Up Invite tournament. Lancers Softball hopes to improve on their sub-.500 record from last season.
California Baptist University competes in the NCAA at the Division 1 level. They have excellent facilities and host some of the biggest mid-major collegiate programs from across the country.
