Riversider Magazine Hosts Inaugural Photo Show and Sale
The event at the Raincross District is an opportunity to buy prints of photos from the Riversider pages and beyond.
Opening today, Riverside’s newest Chick-fil-A sits on the corner of Van Buren Blvd. and Arlington Ave.
A drive-thru-only Chick-fil-A restaurant opens its doors, or rather–lanes in Riverside this morning, bringing approximately 120 new jobs to the Arlanza neighborhood.
The new restaurant, located at 6299 Van Buren Blvd., will operate from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, featuring drive-thru, carry-out, delivery options, and outdoor seating. Scott Kisow, a Riverside native with over three decades of experience in the local restaurant industry, is the Owner-Operator of the new store
“While I’ve had the pleasure of serving the Riverside community for decades, I’m looking forward to this new opportunity to connect and show care to our Guests,” Kisow said. “Our family is excited to continue building long-lasting relationships in this community, and our team is eager to serve!” The entire Kisow family will be a part of the team at the new restaurant, including his wife, Janelle, their daughter, and two sons.
The restaurant’s opening will be marked by a $25,000 donation to Feeding America by Chick-fil-A, Inc., supporting local hunger relief efforts. Additionally, the location will participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, redistributing surplus food to local charities, and will honor 100 “local heroes” with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year, acknowledging their contributions to the Riverside area.
