We’ve seen the Mural on Elizabeth and Magnolia; Mikey G’s coming soon. Not soon enough for the Mikey G’s crew. While working and waiting on the flagship Midtown location, the crew has been keeping up on their coffee chops with pop-up events around town.

Harvest Church has long been a friend of the shop, and they have been doing regular Sunday pop-ups at the Arlington Avenue church. As of January 1, 2025, Mikey G’s relationship with Harvest has progressed from pop-up to “residency.” Every day from 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m., you can stop by “The Space” at Harvest for a high-quality, innovative, and well-made beverage.

Co-owner Jake Driscoll poured me a Nitro Matcha (I recommend it) and told me a little about their current situation. Harvest is currently a temporary location with the possibility of a long-term agreement. The Elizabeth Street location is to be their flagship location, and Mikey G’s at Harvest, if it moves beyond residency status, would be run concurrently with their main location.

The process has been cumbersome but the Mikey G’s team is optimistic about a spring 2025 opening for the Elizabeth Street location. “Our journey gets a little better and moves a little forward every day,” says Driscoll.

Harvest Christian Fellowship may not be the Midtown brick-and-mortar you have been anticipating, but it is a nice space, and the high standards you’ve come to expect from Mikey G’s at their pop-up events are well on display. Harvest is at the intersection of Arlington and Adams. You can find the coffee shop just to the right of the main building. Stop by if you’re a fan of their coffee or looking for a preview of what’s to come at the Elizabeth Street location.
