Riverside really shines in the Spring. It's not just the beautiful weather. There is a lot to do. We have some big events this month. From air shows to art markets, this is a well-rounded month of activities with plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy Spring in Southern California.

April Events

  • April 4th - Ramona Arts Student Film Festival

The Arts magnet at Ramona High School has been turning out some really incredible student art. At the High School Film Festival, you can experience creative storytelling and innovative techniques from emerging young filmmakers. A wonderful opportunity to support local arts education while enjoying inspiring short films. 7675 Magnolia Ave.

  • April 12 &13 - So Cal Air Show at March Air Field

A new date this year keeps spectators away from the worst of the heat. The SoCal Air Show is a community tradition featuring aerial performances, static aircraft displays, and family-friendly activities. Engage with Riverside's aviation community and experience the thrill of flight demonstrations.

  • April 12th - Art Market at White Park

It's free, but it shouldn't be. Presented by the Riverside Arts Council, Art Market allows you to meet local artists, browse unique creations, and support Riverside's creative community. Much more than a craft fair, the Art Market has food vendors and live entertainment, and it is an excellent way to connect with local artisans. 3936 Chestnut St

  • April 19th - Downtown Neighborhood Garage Sale

Explore the beautiful homes and streets of Downtown Riverside while hunting for treasures at this community-wide garage sale. A sustainable shopping opportunity that helps you connect with neighbors and discover the charm of our downtown district.

  • April 24th - Spoon Installation Reception

Artist Rebecca Waring-Crane brings awareness to food insecurity among local children with her powerful art installation at La Sierra University. The Article 24 installation will be on display beginning Monday, March 31. The formal reception will be on Thursday, April 24, 2025, 5:00-6:30 at Zapara School of Business, 4500 Riverwalk Pkwy. You are invited!

  • April 29th - Ramona Arts Senior Showcase

Support emerging artists from the Arts Magnet at Ramona at this culminating exhibition featuring diverse works from graduating seniors. A meaningful way to encourage the next generation of creative voices in our community. 7675 Magnolia Ave.

  • April (All Month) - Flabob Airport 100th Anniversary Celebrations

Flabob Airport has been around for almost as long as aviation. Come see a surviving airstrip from the golden age of aviation. There will be car shows, swing dancing, food, and more, as well as a series of events during their centennial anniversary month. 4130 Mennes Ave.

Welcome Farm House Collective to the Neighborhood

The Farm House Collective is Riverside's newest venue.. With a philosophy to "Grow Where You Are Planted," they offer an exciting mix of sports viewings, outdoor movies, music events, and more.
