As we welcome back the Festival of Lights for their 30th anniversary we are bringing back the fun and holiday spirit to Riverside with a Century Wheel, Carousel and other activities.
Join an in-person painting class and create your own version of A Snoopy Christmas with The Paint Sesh. The Paint Sesh instructor/entertainer will guide you through approx. 1.5 – 2 hours of lively creativity and laughs, with no experience needed to have a good time. Ages 13+.

Miserly Ebenezer Scrooge has grave doubts at first about believing his own eyes. Ramona High School presents the Riverside Philharmonic for a holiday concert with choir students joining the orchestra for songs from holiday movies like Home Alone 2 and other holiday favorites. Other seasonal music to be performed include A Chanukah Overture by Robert Wendel, Ukrainian Christmas Overture by music director Tomasz Golka and A Christmas Festival by Leroy Anderson.
Holiday Carillon Recital

Traditional and popular music for the holiday season will be performed on the carillon during a one hour recital. Enjoy the holiday music from the Bell Tower in the park-like atmosphere of the UCR campus!
Come see the Heritage House in all its holiday finery. The house will be decorated with Victorian Christmas décor, including festive greens, handmade decorations, and mistletoe.
43rd Annual Riverside Messiah Sing-In

Open to the Community, An opportunity to hear and sing along on selections from G. F. Handel’s famous Oratorio, Messiah, accompanied by a chamber orchestra conducted by Ken Rasner, and, including Dr. Clay Christiansen playing the 56 rank Henry Pilcher and sons pipe organ.
