Monday Gazette: April 7, 2025 Hello Riverside, and Happy Monday! From the jam-packed ArtsWalk events to the Citrus Festival and
Free family-friendly event to showcase 100 local artists at White Park.
The Riverside Art Alliance will host its 10th annual Riverside Art Market at White Park on April 12, featuring works from 100 local artists and artisans. The free event, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., drew 4,000 visitors last year.
Proceeds from the event support the Riverside Art Museum's community outreach programs, which provide art education and cultural experiences to residents throughout the Inland Empire.
The market will offer products of diverse genres and media, including paintings, sculptures, photography, ceramics, jewelry, and textiles. In addition to art sales, the event will include demonstrations, performances, and activities for children.
The family-friendly environment includes art activities specifically designed for younger attendees, aiming to engage the next generation of artists and art enthusiasts.
Local food vendors and a selection of regional beer and wine producers will also be present, creating a well-roundedcommunity experience.
Last year's market raised over $30,000 through booth fees, sponsorships, and a percentage of sales donated by participating artists. The funds supported museum programs, including free admission days, school field trips, and community art classes.
The Riverside Art Alliance, which operates as the fundraising arm of the Riverside Art Museum, has gradually expanded the market's scope since its inception in 2016.
The Riverside Art Market will take place at White Park, located at 3936 Chestnut St. in downtown Riverside. Free parking will be available at designated downtown garages.
