The ninth annual Riverside Art Market brings vendors and the community together to celebrate Riverside’s vibrant art scene.
The Art Alliance of the Riverside Art Museum will host its ninth annual Riverside Art Market this Saturday, April 13. It will feature 100 artist/artisan vendors selling free crafts to children, entertainment, art demonstrations, beer and wine, and a silent auction.
The event, free and open to the public, will be held at White Park in downtown Riverside. It will include a drawing for a painting by renowned local artist Paulden Evans.
“As a local artist in Riverside, I’m always excited to support, participate in, and represent the Riverside Art Museum,” said Yolanda Terrell, a local artist participating in the market. It’s a wonderful way to help support the Art Alliance of the Riverside Art Museum. I love the way they support local artists. We have such a variety of talented artists, and this gives them the platform they need and truly deserve.”
The Riverside Art Market is one of the premier art events in the Inland Empire, featuring a variety of formats and media from local and regional artists. It is also an opportunity for families to engage in creative activities. “Art Market offers a unique opportunity to celebrate art and artists in the lovely outdoor setting of White Park,” said Ruth Ann Ryan, President of the Art Alliance of the Riverside Art Museum. “Come and be part of the fun, the community, and the wonder of creativity right here in Riverside!”
The Art Alliance of the Riverside Art Museum supports the Riverside Art Museum by hosting events, projects, and exhibitions that showcase the work of local artists. The organization also provides scholarships and funding for art classes at the museum.
