Over a thousand Riversiders gathered Saturday at the corner of Market and University as part of a nationally organized 'Hands Off' protest. The protesters aimed to bring attention to policy changes and cuts in government spending that have affected many Americans. No incidents of violence or vandalism were reported.

The Raincross Gazette exists due to our constitutional right to free speech. As mid-2025 rapidly approaches, the 2026 election campaign season will soon be upon us. We hope to be able to cover many more peaceful rallies and protests over the coming year and a half.
