It will be a quiet week at City Hall, with no City Council meeting and two canceled commission meetings. The Cultural Heritage Board will review the City's plan to convert historic district streetlights to LED technology.
La Sierra University Athletics sometimes gets lost in the mix. Sharing the city with two competitive Division 1 programs (UC Riverside and California Baptist) makes it hard for the NAIA Golden Eagles to find their share of the spotlight.
SDSU transfer, twins Triston and Tyler Broughton, intend to change that this season. Triston averaged 12.9 points per game, and Tyler averaged 9.1 in limited games last season.
