Join the 32nd annual Walk with the Animals at Fairmount Park on Saturday, April 27, 2024, to help homeless animals.
One of Riverside's most popular events, the Walk with the Animals, is returning this year! The event, hosted by DCH Subaru of Riverside, will occur on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Fairmount Park.
The Walk with the Animals is a family-friendly event that brings together more than 1,500 pet owners and pet enthusiasts to raise funds for the care of the thousands of homeless animals helped by Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center and its programs and services each year.
Those who would like to form a team can register at petsadoption.org. The registration fee is $40 for adults and $30 for students of any age. All registered participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt and pancake breakfast. Those who collect donations of at least $100 will receive additional incentives.
On-site registration will begin at 9 a.m. on April 27, and the walk will start at 10 a.m. after a Blessings of the Animals Ceremony. After the walk, attendees can shop from the vendor village, burn off energy at the Kids Zone or dog activity area, participate in pet contests, and purchase tickets for the over 40 raffle prizes.
