The Land Use Committee (Councilmembers Mill, Falcone, and Cervantes) meets on Monday, December 9, at 9:00 a.m. (agenda) to consider updates to Riverside's sign regulations and a pilot program that would allow developers to fund bicycle infrastructure improvements to offset transportation impacts from new construction projects.
The Board of Public Utilities meets on Monday, December 9, at 6:30 p.m. (agenda) to approve the $25.2 million (over five years) purchase and installation of the remaining smart meters needed to modernize its electrical metering system, among other projects under consideration.
The Finance Committee (Councilmembers Hemenway, Robillard, and Falcone) meets on Wednesday, December 11, at 9:00 a.m. (agenda) to review a quarterly financial report that shows stable investment returns and decreasing debt levelsand changes to local vendor policies which increased City spending with Riverside businesses from 1.08% to 4.05% of total purchases despite lower overall spending.
