City Council
City Council will meet in closed and open sessions on Tuesday, July 2, in an afternoon session at 1:00 p.m. (agenda). The agenda includes:
- Updating the City's contract with the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) to include retirement cost-sharing for select Police Management employees "as soon as administratively possible."
- Authorizing the $4.9 million purchase of new police radio units.
- Authorizing up to $1.7 million for pool improvements at Shamel, Hunt, Reid, and Villegas Parks.
Transportation Board
The Transportation Board meets on Wednesday, July 3, at 5:30 p.m. (agenda) to consider eliminating permit-required street parking on Ferguson Court near La Sierra High School and on 11th Street downtown.
