Council to consider a $10M allocation to City’s reserves in Tuesday’s meeting.

City Council will meet in closed and open sessions Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. There is one discussion item on the agenda.
In a continuation from the July 18 council meeting, Council will receive the City’s Fiscal Year 2022/23 Third Quarter Financial Update, which includes a request to “approve the allocation of $10 million in projected General Fund savings to the General Fund Infrastructure Reserve ($7 million) and the establishment of a Technology Reserve ($3 million).”
Council will also confirm the appointments of Daniel Robles to the Transportation Board on the recommendation of Councilmember Cervantes and Debbie Martis to the Human Relations Commission on the recommendation of Mayor Lock Dawson.
The Planning Commission will meet Thursday, August 3, at 9:00 a.m.
One project has a public hearing for “the installation of a 10-foot-tall motorized electric security fence behind an existing 5-foot-tall perimeter fence” at the outdoor storage yard for Bemus Landscaping.
