City Council

City Council will meet in closed and open sessions on Tuesday, July 2, in an afternoon session at 1:00 p.m. (agenda). The agenda includes:

Updating the City's contract with the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) to include retirement cost-sharing for select Police Management employees "as soon as administratively possible."
Authorizing the $4.9 million purchase of new police radio units.
Authorizing up to $1.7 million for pool improvements at Shamel, Hunt, Reid, and Villegas Parks.

Transportation Board

Board of Public Utilities

The Board of Public Utilities meets on Monday, July 8, at 6:30 p.m. (agenda) to review revisions proposed by the Board of Ethics to the City's Code of Ethics and Conduct and consider roughly $6.9 million in capital improvement projects.

The Board of Ethics meets on Tuesday, July 9, at 5:00 p.m. (agenda) for regular business.

Commission of the Deaf

The Commission of the Deaf meets on Wednesday, July 10, at 5:30 p.m. (agenda) for a presentation on the City's 311 Contact Center and other regular business.
