City Council
City Council will meet on Tuesday, September 10, in an afternoon session at 1:00 p.m. (agenda). The agenda includes:
The Land Use Committee meets on Monday, September 9, at 9:00 a.m. (agenda) for a workshop on the municipal code's signage requirements for local businesses, which were last updated in 2015.
Board of Library Trustees
The Board of Library Trustees meets on Monday, September 9, at 5:00 p.m. (agenda) for regular business.
Board of Public Utilities
The Board of Public Utilities meets on Monday, September 9, at 6:30 p.m. (agenda) to consider multiple projects, including a main water line replacement on Taft Street, a groundwater well rehabilitation, and water and electrical systems improvements for the Northside Agriculture Innovation Center.
City Council set to consider a 23-unit affordable housing project in La Sierra, a 24-station electric vehicle charging hub at the Riverside Airport, and the $2.4 million purchase of electric trucks for its fleet.
City Council does not meet this week. Potentially stricter rules for industrial development near neighborhoods and a review of the City’s homelessness outreach and cleanup spending are on committee and commission agendas this week.
