It’ll be bugs ahoy at the Riverside Insect Fair this Saturday at the Riverside Main Library. Hear bug stories, watch a chef cook with bugs, learn how to create your own bug collection, and visit with real live Entomology students from UC Riverside. Entomophiles will be in heaven; entomophobes – you’ve been warned.

Hundreds of Wood Streets neighborhood residents will participate in the 12th Annual Wood Streets Yard Sale on Saturday. Organizers recommend bringing a cart to haul away your treasures and wearing comfortable shoes – there’s lots of ground to cover. (A bottle of water wouldn’t hurt.) Be prepared for plenty of traffic and limited parking in the neighborhood’s narrow streets. White and red signs at intersections will point the way. For questions, please call or text Rosemary at 951-313-2823.
Time: 9:00 a.m. – noon
